QHHT Online? Risks in Sessions

Dolores Cannon taught that QHHT sessions can’t be conducted online.

While this is a controversial subject in certain communities, I’d like to share my own experiences and insights.

I’ve done a LOT of in person Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique Sessions. After a year of in person only sessions, I started studying BQH- Beyond Quantum Healing. BQH allows online sessions.

I noticed right away as both a client and as a facilitator, online sessions worked. They were just as comfortable and effective as my in person QHHT sessions had been.

In some ways? They were even BETTER.

  • No one has to drive.
  • No one has to host.
  • People are more comfortable in locations of their own choosing.
  • Zoom can easily schedule, record, transcribe, create notes and action steps for meetings.

But…

Dolores Cannon was an icon. She is the authority on quantum healing. She created the method.

One night I was sitting at my desk. I wondered: How could my hero be wrong? So wrong? About THIS?

That thought, “I wonder how could Dolores Cannon be wrong?” echoed in my mind, but intstead of receding into the background I heard an ANSWER. A RESPONSE.

Not just any response, either. I HEARD Dolores’ voice. I FELT her mannerisms take over the left side of my body as I attained her posture and rested my chin on my left hand.

How could Dolores be wrong?

“Because I was A HUMAN BEING Dolores said, with the emphasis on HUMAN BEING.

I understood. We get to be wrong. To err is human. We all make mistakes. On Earth people – even experts- are inherently flawed.

As quickly as it started I was back to normal.

Concerns

  • Internet connection
  • Client connection
  • Abreaction

Internet Connection

The main concern with online meetings historically, has been with interruptions. In Dolores’ day, there weren’t 5G networks. Fiber internet wasn’t standard. According to Candace Craw-Goldman, creator of BQH, Dolores herself did NOT like using technology and it was this discomfort that contributed to her aversion to online work. Even now, I suggest my clients have a stable internet connection for remote hypnosis work.

What if interruptions DO happen?

  • Twice I had to evacuate my home because the city hit my gas line during road construction.
  • One time I had a seizure, and wasn’t able to rejoin a meeting because I was rushed to the ER.
  • Another time my electricity went out because of ONCE AGAIN- (drum roll) road construction.

So interruptions DO happen. But did you notice? Those weren’t internet specific. These would have ALSO effected in person meetings. With best laid plans, some events are not foreseeable or preventable.

Since my clients were online, they weren’t in danger from gas leaks or inconvenienced when there was no A/C on a 100+ degree day. I messaged each client as soon as I could, and rescheduled as it was appropriate. These are rare. Most interruptions don’t end a session.

Shorter Interruptions

If there’s a brief delay, a connection loss or a break in hypnotic state? Good news! That tends to DEEPEN trance states. In hypnosis we call this “hypnotic fractionation” or “breaking state”, Stopping and starting again during hypnosis is used to create mental flexibility while anchoring client responses into the fabric the conscious mind. When your everyday awareness is familiar with a new pattern, you can recall and engage that new pattern with ease. So- If you need to use the restroom, if the internet glitches, or if your device encounters an unexpected issue- don’t worry. It’s a good thing. I’ve even had clients receive messages during this “break”. Or they needed to use the restroom, and were to shy to ask! There is almost always a potential benefit to an interuption.

I’ve learned to see interruptions as opportunities.

Client Connection

Are online sessions as effective as in person sessions?

Yes. In my experience and based on my clients results and reactions? Online sessions are just as effective as in person meetings. BQH scripting includes language that emphasizes a heart to heart connection created between facilitator and client. This connection extends beyond physical space and offers the same results as face to face meetings offer. That’s what “quantum” means in the context of hypnosis. Universal principles are not limited by time or space. Intention creates alignment, and BQH is founded with a compassion based intention. It’s built into the framework of Beyond Quantum Healing.

Abreaction

Dolores’ main concern was with her client’s safety. What if a client was having a traumatic reaction? How would a facilitator react online? What if there is an interruption?

During training, she recruited her colleague, and future creator of BQH, Candace Craw-Goldman demonstrate the “dangers” of hypnosis. Candace was instructed to scream at the top of her lungs, pretending to witness a traumatic event from a past life. I’m told it was quite a scene, causing the students- and even people outside the class- to fear what was happening in Dolores’ classroom. It was HIGHLY dramatic, and overdone PURPOSEFULLY. She was- and STILL IS- known as “the Screaming Woman” by some QHHT students!

It’s Candace herself that wondered, “Can sessions be done online safely?” and developed a method – BQH- just for that purpose. BQH is different than QHHT in a number of ways. It’s not scripted (QHHT is), BQH can be used in conjunction with other modalities (QHHT cannot) and it can be done online, while QHHT sessions are done in person only. For more information or to study BQH, go to www.quantumhealers.com and use code JULIAW10 for 10% your training. You won’t regret it!

Typical reactions to traumatic events during a sessions are FAR more subtle than “screaming woman’s” reactions were directed to be. Since these experiences are guided by the Higher Self, so you can rest assured won’t be given more than you can handle, “You don’t feed a baby a steak, ” as Dolores might say.

Your psyche has protective measures that prevent re-exposure to trauma during hypnosis, Your facilitator has tools and suggestions that allow you to examine heavy events without promoting attachment to those events. You can see painful experiences from the outside- from a disassociated perspective- or associate fully for events that need resolution if that’s what your soul needs. Your soul knows.

How to prepare and minimize interuptions:

  • Have a stable and secure internet connection.
  • Ensure your devices are fully charged and plugged in
  • Choose a private location for your session without distractions. No one should be observing or coming in and out of the room during the session.
  • Animals can participate, just make sure they aren’t barking or scratching at your door. Use your discretion, but typically animals like to help!
  • Reassure yourself: Interruptions are opportunities.
  • If you have concerns, bring these up to your practitioner.
