In what different ways do people experience hypnosis?
We’ll talk about the dynamic range of experiences and how people tend to feel during and after their sessions.
How does it feel to be hypnotized? Well, it feels different for different people at different times. Let’s take a look at some scenarios.
Some people remember their entire session, others don’t. Some remember certain parts clearly and other parts are more like a dream.
Some people are very visual, and get visual cues easily. Others report seeing things only after they begin speaking. That’s why I encourage clients to TALK- even before they understand what they are saying.
Some people receive information through their other senses (smell, taste, “knowing) or through their emotions. Many people notice physical reactions. Some sessions seem full of metaphors-not past lives . Some perspectives my clients have appear to be rooted in reality- matching historical records or scientific precedent. Neither are better or worse. Each is an expression of the subconscious mind.
It’s entirely personal how the senses are engaged during a hypnosis session and a lot of it depends on your willingness to journey along with your session intention. You’ll get what you need in the WAY you need it- even if you don’t necessarily recognize the connections immediately during the session. Some meaning evolves over time. Setting an intention for the experience and referencing this intention, can help you navigate, interpret, and integrate your quantum experience.
Incarnations can be dull or dynamic. Both are “important” if that is what you are being shown in your session. Often people are shown relatively straightforward lives of ordinary people. Other times people experience incarnations as rocks, nature spirits or beings living during extraordinary circumstances. It all depends on what you want and what you need to see. Some people live out many stories during the other life experience others focus on just one incarnation.
There isn’t ONE way people do, or SHOULD feel during a quantum hypnosis session. I’ve had dozens of sessions myself and I can say that every one is completely different. None better, or worse than another. Since every person is unique, every session reflects that uniqueness. Give yourself some credit- you subconscious mind knows you better than anyone. If you are dedicated to reflection, and if you allow yourself to engage with quantum healing? There is no failure, only feedback.

Q: But what does it actually FEEL like?
People use different brain states ALL THE TIME. So you’re probably already VERY familiar with these hypnotic “trance” states. Your brain goes into Alpha, a light hypnotic state every 60 seconds, or so. You might prolong this state by meditation, watching movies, listening to music, or by reading. So as you’re reading this sentence? How do you FEEL? Notice it. Hypnosis feels like, well: THIS. Natural, right? So for many people hypnosis feels, well. NORMAL.
Deeper trance states-Theta, Gamma, etc.-are ALSO something we experience several times a day. Particularly anytime we wake up or fall asleep. People tend to remember these states less clearly. Because it straddles the line between consciousness and sleep states, hypnosis using Theta and Gamma brain activity gives your subconscious realms a voice. This is typically the state in which we can ask deeper questions and gain wisdom beyond our normal, waking insights. Not every session involves feeling “hypnotized”- even when clients are engaging with these deeper states of trance.
It’s not uncommon for people to think hypnosis “didn’t work” on them. This is usually related to their expectations about what they SHOULD have felt or have achieved. Maybe they DO remember the session well, when they assumed they’d be “asleep” or that they’d lose the ability to recall their hypnotic state. Often people don’t notice a significant difference between the hypnotic and waking states. Many of these same people talked about themselves in the third person, demonstrated rapid eye movement (REM) or reported hours of time distortion -clear indicators of trance. This is another reason to listen, and re-listen to the session. While you may remember the experience, you might remember it differently. Another reason to relisten to the recording? What you need to hear from a session may change over time.
People tend to have more dynamic hypnosis experiences NOW- ones that they embody and recall more fluidly– than they had in the past. Consciousness itself has expanded allowing for our immediate access to both inner and outer dimensions. This can be represented in the nature of client experiences and the ability to REMEMBER quantum sessions more and more clearly.
While we may seem to remember our hypnosis experience vividly, if we don’t talk about it afterward these tend to fade quickly. It’s like a dream. Journaling helps with dream recall. Talking about, and re-listening to your experience works in the same way. Greater understanding often blossoms in unexpected ways and at different times. Listen to your session several times, it will maximize the benefit you’ll gain from the hypnosis.

What clients say:
Clients often report relaxation, focus, and extra sensitivity after engaging their creative states of being. Here are just a few benefits my clients report- in their own words.

“It’s so freaking cool to unpack this info and see everything unfold.”
“My mind is officially blown.”
“It was deeply relaxing, insightful, and a beautiful experience. I was able to access surprising memories from a hypnotic state where I felt completely safe”
“After having two sessions I have a new outlook on life and keep asking more questions.”
“I slept peacefully that night and woke before my alarm the next morning, pain – free for the first time in years. After two weeks, I am still 90% pain – free! I guess I knew it would be a healing experience spiritually and psychologically, but the physical results have really been beyond anything I could have anticipated.”
“It has had a snowball effect into some very deep healing.”
“I connected deeper to my inner child and I was able to move beyond some personal blockages I had.”
“It felt really cool getting to hear and remember (in my conscious mind) those little gems of info from my subconscious and higher self.”
“I’ve been reviewing the recording from my session with Julia and my mind just keeps getting blown over and over again.”

“What I gained from this is priceless.”
This isn’t MAGIC, but sometimes the ease and rapidity at which we can adopt a new pattern of health is AMAZING. And some times change comes in making small changes over time.
Our ACCEPTANCE of our expanded selves helps anchor our growth into our conscious minds. We can TELL our bodies, minds, and emotions to work FOR us. Expect to experience a stronger connection to your “intuition” and listen to that inner voice. Follow the advice you are given before, during and after the session by your “higher self” and your practitioner. I’ll be here for you every step of the way!
