What is your Chinese Zodiac sign? Does it relate to your Past Lives? I Share About My Life as a Horse

The descriptions I read didn’t resonate. Horses were energetic and social. I wasn’t particularly either.

They’re drawn to crowds.
I was a bit of a loner.

I mean… horses are okay. 🐴
I had more than my fair share of My Little Ponies growing up.
But what lit me up? Making things. Putting shapes and colors together. Singing. Reading. Writing. Drawing. I was a creative, relatively quiet kid.

Astrologically, I’ve always identified more with my Libra ♎️ nature—seeking balance, exploring justice and freedom. It wasn’t until recently that I began to wonder: Was there more information available in my Chinese Zodiac sign?

🐴My History with Horses

I had a past life as a horse, once.  Well, at least once.

My hind left leg was bitten by a snake, and as I recovered in the barn, my mood started to decline.

As my mood started to decline, my teeth became infected.

My owner in that life was a kind, gentle, man who rehabilitated me as opposed to “putting me down.”

That’s all I really needed:
✨ Loving encouragement
🌱 A nudge toward light
🌞 The memory of open pastures

⚔️ Past Life as a Warrior

In another life as a man, I was thrown from my horse and broke my left leg.

I was in feudal Japan, acting as a Samurai, or some sophisticated warrior, when my horse lost his footing and we were both injured badly in the fall. I had to accept my loss in that experience, while I was nursed back to health by a woman who didn’t even speak my language or have anything to gain from my presence there.

In that life, my energy was bold, masculine, and forward-moving. Her care taught me something deeper:
💧Ease.
💗Allowance.
🌸 Love without expectation.

🧬 Echoing Themes

In both lifetimes, I craved deep one-on-one connection. As a horse, I just wanted “my human.” As a human, I didn’t want groups—just my horse.

👤 And in this life? I’m the same way. I prefer deep one-on-one sessions over big events.

🦵 The Left Leg: A Repeating Symbol

I have a history of injuries on the left leg across many lives, including this life as Julia:

  • In one life, I was stabbed by a suitor I refused to marry.
  • A birthmark in the same place
  • Scars on my left knee from multiple injuries, infections, and growths

Spiritually, the left side of the body relates to:

  • 🌀 The past
  • 🩷 Feminine energy (as opposed to the left brain, which is more masculine)
  • 🌍 Grounding and direction

Legs = movement
Feet = being grounded
Knees = flexibility

My injuries always came from over-masculine energy—charging forward too fast, choosing poor footing, impatience.

Each injury was a pivot point. I had to slow down. To adapt. To become flexible.

Repetition promotes freedom from repetition.
Becoming more grounded helps me move forward at my own pace.

Not racing. Not stagnating.

Steady.

🐎 Horse Tales Revisited

I decided to look again at the qualities of the Horse.
According to chinesenewyear.net, Horses are:

“Confident, agreeable, responsible. They dislike being reined in by others. They’re fit and intelligent, decisive but impatient.”

Horses are known for their independence, restlessness, and a deep craving for freedom of movement—physically, mentally, and spiritually. They also tend to bolt when fenced in—whether by relationships, routines, or rigid expectations. Their energy is outward: direct, and dynamic-but this can manifest as impatience, impulsivity, or neurosis.

In the ancient zodiac race, the Horse galloped confidently toward the finish line—only to be startled by the Snake, who slithered into his path at the last moment.🐍 It’s a story of humility—a reminder that even the swift must stay present. And maybe… I can’t help but wonder- Has that “snake” visited me before?

🎤 A Quantum Revelation

In my first quantum healing session, my Subconscious Mind said:

“Her mind is like a horse—chomping at the bit.” 😮

At that moment, I could feel the split in my mind.“Sometimes, the signs are subtle. Sometimes, they come galloping.” 🐎
If you’re ready to follow the thread of your story, I’m here.”

One part spoke of “Julia” in third person (the SC) and was patient.
Another part- a voice on the left side- wanted to say “I”. That part was more masculine, impatient, ready to take the reins. I could HEAR and FEEL my ego. More importantly, I recognized the subtle energy of the Subconscious Mind.

I felt that part of me that was “chomping at the bit” and I realized the SC was right.

Yes. I AM a horse- A horse learning about Pace. 🐎✨

🧑‍⚕️ Dr. Whitaker

I’ve never trusted doctors.
Except Dr. Mark Whitaker.

He looked and spoke just like my owner in that past horse life.
He’d get down on my level to speak with me, kneeling and effortlessly gaining my trust.

He’d need it. One day I was injured.

I stepped on glass, which had become embedded in my foot. I neglected it, not wanting to have to see the Doctor, and as a result it became infected. Dr. Whitaker administered a lidocaine injection-the most painful thing I’ve ever felt to date– and he skillfully dug out the glass.

Only now as I’m writing this, I realize:

He did the same for me in that other life.
He knelt beside me when I couldn’t stand.
He tended to my pain without judgment.
He looked in my eyes and encouraged me to accept his help.
Eventually, he helped me stand again.

I’m crying now. Because I hear it again:
“Get out of the barn.”

That’s how I healed in that other life. Moving.

He helped me move THROUGH discomfort, not avoid it.
I realize-that’s how I help others, now.
