Wisdom of Fur, Fins, and Feathers: Animal Lives

Many people think of “past lives” as human incarnations only. In reality, consciousness takes all forms. Looking through these animal’s eyes teaches us valuable lessons.

What if…
Your soul wanted to be a platypus?
Or a monkey in love?
Or even… whale poop? (snicker)

What might you learn about joy, purpose, or even parenting
from being a bear, a dolphin, or a bird?

🌟Sentient, Significant & Willing to Sacrifice

Let’s start with the platypus.

During a Group Past Life Regression a male client suddenly found himself in the body of a small, strange creature. A soft, rounded, warm, platypus-like animal. The weirdest part? He was a female in that life. She was protective. Alert. And heavily pregnant.

When I asked him what felt most profound about his experience, he paused.

“…Giving birth,” he said.

In his present, human life? He is a single father of a severely autistic child. He explained that being that mother platypus—feeling the physical, instinctual act of giving life —opened up something new in him. Confidence.

Later in the session, the platypus encounters danger. She makes a choice: to sacrifice herself to save her young.

Not out of drama-like some of the “sacrifices” he’s made in his human life- rather out of pure love. It was simple, instinctive, and complete.

He came out of the session smiling through tears.

His lesson?

He’s capable. He’s capable of sacrifice– the type of sacrifice that his son requires on a daily basis.

Two Animal Lives During a Quantum Exploration Session

Quantum Exploration sessions are 90 minute experiences designed to help you tap into your intuition and receive glimpses of other lives and helpful information. While these are much shorter than Quantum Healing sessions (usually 4-6 hours in length) clients get deep insights despite the brevity. Take this client, who witnesses two animal lives in her Quantum Exploration session.

Do you have a body?” I ask, as she visibly enters a deeper state of trance. She is taking note of her physical form in a different life. She’s making a flying or flapping motion with her arms.

“I’m moving like this (she starts flapping her arms)but I don’t have arms. I’m in the ocean.” She seems amused.

“Are you swimming like a manta ray, or ?…”

“I’m a dolphin!” she realizes quickly.

Life is pretty simple as a dolphin. She plays; she eats. She has a daughter, and they are part of a pod. She’s carefree.

Until the day she is attacked by a shark.

As lighthearted as she is only moments before, her voice becomes solemn while she speaks about meeting the shark.

The hungry shark grabs her rear fins and with an iconic barrel-roll, leaves the water red with her blood. She’s seen this happen to others. This time she’s the one being killed. Even as a dolphin, she knows death is part of life.

Her last thoughts?
Are about her daughter.
Her death protects her child.

Her purpose in that life? Joy.

Next, the same client visits the life of a monkey. While swinging from branch to branch the young monkey falls, only to find a predator- a jaguar– is waiting to pounce on him as soon as he hits the ground.

He is injured, but he escapes and recovers. A short time later, I ask what has changed in his life?

“I’m in LOVE!”, he describes a light haired monkey his own age that he’s smitten with.

How does he know he’s in love, I inquire?

“I’m going to have to bring her LOTS of berries!” he answers, blushing.

The monkey’s purpose in that life? Also joy. 🙂

What do you imagine her purpose might be in THIS, her present life?

You got it. Joy and Love. 🙂

In all three of these lives, animals unthinkingly sacrifice themselves to save others. Each life focuses on loving connection. Each animal understands death as part of an ongoing cycle. Maybe animals are smarter than some people think!

Typical Transitions & Rare Transformations

Whale Done!

In one hilarious session, my client visits the perspective of a whale.
She’s riding different vibrations and frequencies in the ocean.
That’s not the funny part…
She transitions out of that perspective, and becomes…
guess what?
Whale poop. Yep.
Even poop has a valuable perspective! Her take away?

It doesn’t matter if you are the whale of the poop.

We make our own fun. Framing is everything.

Here’s an excerpt.

Here’s the whole session.

That? Might be the least “typical” transition I’ve facilitated.
The most common? Often after dying a person’s soul might drift up into the sky and find themselves in the body of a bird.

Birds seem to offer a middle ground between the gravity of life and the freedom of death. Birds are free to soar above the human realm and yet they still have a physical form. People who are becoming comfortable with non-ordinary reality often use the viewpoint of birds to help integrate this understanding. It’s common for those exploring astral projection or totem magic to attain the perspective of a bird while bi-locating.

Similar to my clients who go from a human body into a birds when they transition, One client lived as a bear after he died as a human. He said it was a nice rest compared to the hustle and bustle of the human realm.

What Am I? What Am I Becoming?!

While some animal lives represent simplicity, one soul’s experience reflects the idea of evolution.

During this Beyond Quantum Healing session my client sees herself as an underwater creature, similar to a sea slug. At first her body is small and simple . But instead of just ONE body or ONE life she witnesses her species’ evolution over time- generation after generation. What a viewpoint! She even feels herself growing a spine.

I’m a filter!” she exclaims at one point. She eats what other creatures leave behind.

One day, she’s filtering nutrients off of the sea floor when three things happen at once.

  • She accidentally eats a new form of life she’s never encountered before.
  • She thinks, ‘I shouldn’t have eaten that;
I might have ended a whole evolutionary path!!’
  • Her spine is severed by a watercraft.

Her last judgment?
“I don’t deserve to evolve”

“How does this belief effect her current life?” I ask her Higher Self

Her Subconscious Mind explains how she’d been holding on to self judgment this whole time, especially in her own spine and liver. Based on her role as a filter, and her association with her spine being related to evolution, that makes sense, doesn’t it?

Would you like to reframe that judgment?” I asked her Subconscious Mind.

I’m not sure how,” she admitted. I noticed she was slipping back into “judgment”.

“Mind if I mention what I’ve noticed?” One useful allowance of Beyond Quantum Healing is that the facilitator can participate in the process, so I added my two cents worth.

“It sounds like you had a new thought, a new revelation right before you died.  What has been happening during this session- what PROCESS have you been seeing?

My evolution.” she answered.

“Yes, your evolution.  You’ve been changing form.  It seems like your thinking evolved. Did your form need to die in order to do that?

“Yes! oh, yes, I think it did,” her realization echoed in her voice.

“Can you change the idea that you deserved to die from a punishment to a reward?” I suggested.

“Yes, I think that is what was happening, ” her soul agreed.

You DO deserve to evolve, don’t you?
(I barely needed to lead her at this point)

Yes, I do.”

Why do souls choose animal lives?

✨ Closing Reflections

Sometimes it’s to remember the Soul’s pure joy.
Sometimes it’s to embody simplicity.
Sometimes it’s to experience love without words.

Over and over, these lives show our natural instincts of protection and connection—love, sacrifice, happiness.

So I ask you…

  • Could your soul have once soared as a bird, swam as a dolphin, or rested in the body of a bear?
  • What do you remember when you open the door to these viewpoints?
If you need help that’s my specialty
  • And…if whale poop has a purpose… So do YOU.

One client told me her 90 min Quantum Exploration session:
“I didn’t think I’d get much out of it—but that was exactly what I needed.”

Maybe you don’t need a big breakthrough.
Maybe you just need a reminder.
You are a part of something bigger.
