Using affirmations as an exercise can be helpful.
You can very easily determine WHERE these phrases do-or DON’T-want to reside in the body.
First choose an affirmation. You can use your own or choose one listed below. If a message resonates strongly, you might ask if that vibration belongs in your body.
Where?

Tune into the body. Examine the part that needs the energy of this belief
– or –
look for a part of the body that has too much of this belief stored there.
Check out that body part.
What does the energy of the belief remind you of? What does it look like? Does is have a shape, a color, a consistency or a texture? Does it trigger an emotion, or a memory? Is it helpful? Why, or why not?
Do you need MORE of it, or LESS of it?
Is the belief attached, or free flowing. If seems to be “attached” does it want to detach? If it’s free flowing, does it need to anchor itself, would that feel better?
See it changing. How does it want to change? Where does it want to go, or what does it want to be used for?

Does this energy know you? Why?
Is it yours or did it come from someone else?
There’s a brief example below, as well as a list of affirmations you can use as a jumping off point. You can use anything that comes to mind, ‘I am worthy” is a great energy to plant, nurture, and grow.
I also like to to use physical movements, words, sounds, and symbols to anchor the new frequency into that area of the body, and into your new reality, so play with visualizations, smells, songs, emojis– this meditation doesn’t have to be conventional or even make sense. The more impromptu your reactions, and the more you trust your instincts, the better.
I outline this exercise in more detail below, and share a list of common affirmations. These are simple affirmations, but I’ve included a link for more detailed Soul Messages that can be used for reflection as well.

Exercise Example: Where do your feelings want to live?
Where do your feelings want to live?
A. First choose a feeling or affirmation.
Example:
“I feel strong”
B. Next, ask yourself: Where does that feeling seem to belong, in the body?
Example:
Feeling strong might belong in my chest.
C. Become aware of the energy representing strength. Does it have a color, a shape, or remind you of something?
Example:
I see it as bright yellow.
And it looks like a sun.
D. Notice the energy that doesn’t match strength. Explore it. What does it remind you of? What memory or vision comes to mind? What does the energy look like (an object, shape, symbol, tool)?
Example:
As I focus on feeling strong, and look to my chest- what comes to mind?
I don’t always feel strong; why not?
I’ll look at the emotion and my chest. What’s there?
I remember a time I was young when I was made fun of and I was called “wussy”.
I felt weak.
When I look at that “wussy” energy, what does it remind me of?
It looks like a soggy handkerchief over my solar plexus.
E. If you discover a judgement, look at that judgement from an updated perspective. When is the judgment from? Was it ever true? Is it true now?
Was that “weakness” really true? Not really, plus those kids aren’t any authority on my current state of “strength”. They weren’t speaking from a place of knowledge.
F. Does that energy want to be accepted, to be changed, to be used, or to be released? How do you see that energy receiving the attention it needs?
Good news! It’s easy to take off. I can just lift it off, and wring out all the tears. I can clean up the handkerchief and use it to help other people dry their tears when they are feeling weak.
G. Check in with the body. What does the body want to happen in that space?
Now that there is space open there, I want to pull up the bright gold vibration of strength and confidence and see a golden sun shining on the faces of all the children in the world who need strength.
H. Choose an action and a phrase that will help you anchor this new energy or understanding. You can use the original affirmation, you can improve on the affirmation, or use any word or phrase that helps you remember what you’ve learned.
To anchor this vibration even further into my body
I stand up, pull energy from the sun, and say “I see my natural strength, and I claim it, for my self and to help others”.
